FORD, Frederick Rice (ERIC) Age 28, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away April 27, 2018 in his parents’ home in Coppell, Texas. Eric was born August 26, 1989 in Houston, Texas. He was a 2008 graduate of Coppell High School and was attended University of North Texas, where he was a member of the Mean Green Lacrosse Team.
Eric is survived by his parents, Frederick Holland and Elizabeth Rice Ford and sister, Lauren Elizabeth, and her husband Mason, and our wonderful Westie girl dog Bruiser.
Preceded in death by grandparents Bill & Marilyn Ford, and Bob and Margaret Rice and aunts Cindy Rice Ward, Suzanne Rice and Eugenia Rice.
He is also survived by aunts and uncles Bill (Elisa) Ford, Missy Ford Gobler, Dave (Rebecca) Ford as well as many cousins and an abundance of friends he was proud to call family.
He was a kind soul with a giving heart, who never met a stranger and was one of the most genuine people on the planet. He loved Pokémon Go and it created a close knit family of friends in Colorado. He loved music and would send songs and lyrics to all he knew.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church, in Coppell.
A celebration of life service will begin Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church in Coppell. Following the service will be a time of refreshments, sharing and visitation.
