Denise M King

Carolyn Denise Muirhead King was born on December 23rd, 1952 in Greenville TX, to Samuel Bryan Muirhead, and Juliette Carroll Muirhead. She went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2023. Known to everyone as Denise, she resided in Greenville with her parents until they moved to Carrollton TX in 1965. She began her first job working at Chapel Hill Baptist School, in the summer of 1968, working with elementary children. Denis graduated in 1971 from RL Turner High School. She met her husband, Charles Bruce King, in late 1972, and they were married on January 26,1974. They resided in Carrollton, and then Irving before settling permanently back in Carrollton. On August 3rd, 1981 she gave birth to her only child, a daughter, Tiffany Carroll King. Denise ended her working career in 1995, from Lennox Industries. She became a grandmother to Zackery in 2001, and again to Marley in 2006. They were the highlight of her life. She was an unwavering friend, loving mother, doting grandmother and devoted wife of 49 years. Her gospel singing held her highest priority, as her devotion to the Lord and praising him was her greatest joy.

Denise is preceded in death by her loving parents, aunts and uncles. She is survived by her husband Bruce, her daughter Tiffany Cox and her husband Lonny Cox, and her beloved grandchildren Zackery and Marley Cox.
