Oscar Arciniegas Cedeno

El Sr. Arciniegas nació en Cali, Colombia, de sus padres, Marco y Lucinda. En sus años de trabajo encontró su pasión en la carpintería e hizo su carrera en carpintería y ebanistería de la que se jubiló.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Yolanda; sus hijos: Yolanda, Oscar (Leslie) y Stuart; sus nietos: Jonathan, Stephanie, Jason, Yecenia, Steven, Javier, Derek, Sean, Justin, Tiffany, Ayden, Angel y Grayson; y sus nietos: Jaxson, Aria, Messiah, Giovanny, Abel, Milan, Aubrey y el pequeño Enzo que espera. También le sobreviven sus hermanos Herman, Jaime, Francisco, Marcos, Martha, Rosalba y Concepción; y sus sobrinos, Jairo Gómez y Jairo Salazar.

Familiares y amigos se reunirán en la funeraria para el velorio el jueves de 2:00 a 4:30 p.m. y por la tarde de 18:00 a 20:30 horas. La misa fúnebre se ofrecerá el viernes a las 10:45 a.m. en la iglesia de St. Luke en Brentwood. Los servicios de cremación seguirán en el Crematorio Mount Pleasant en Center Moriches a las 12:30 p.m.

Oscar Arciniegas Cedeno, age 76, of Copiague, L.I., passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the age of 76 years.

Mr. Arciniegas was born in Cali, Colombia to his parents, Marco and Lucinda. In his years of work he found his passion in woodwork and made his career in carpentry and cabinetry from which he retired.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Yolanda; his children – Yolanda, Oscar (Leslie) and Stuart; his grandchildren – Jonathan, Stephanie, Jason, Yecenia, Steven, Javier, Derek, Sean, Justin, Tiffany, Ayden, Angel and Grayson; and his grandchildren – Jaxson, Aria, Messiah, Giovanny, Abel, Milan, Aubrey and the expecting of little Enzo. Also surviving are his siblings Herman, Jaime, Francisco, Marcos, Martha, Rosalba and Concepcion; and his nephews, Jairo Gomez and Jairo Salazar.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home for visitation on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. and in the evening from 6:00 PM to 8:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be offered on Friday at 10:45 AM at St. Luke's Church in Brentwood. Cremation Services will follow at Mount Pleasant Crematory in Center Moriches at 12:30 p.m.
