Dwight married Helen Barnes in 1967 and together they lived happily for 57 years. He was a farmer in Helena, Arkansas where he retired before moving to Conway, Arkansas. He was an active member of Brumley Baptist Church. Dwight enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with family, westerns, video games, playing jokes and of course eating!
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents and sister Brenda Ferin.
Dwight is survived by his wife Helen, son Curtis Barnes and daughter-in-law Jo Barnes, one grandson Kurt Branes his spouse Teya and their children Vincent, Leo, August and Jax one granddaughter Tiffany Huffins her spouse Tommy and their child Thomas. One brother Mack Dewayne Barnes and four sisters Wanda Noel, Madeline Stanford, Linda Barnes Bevel, and Glenda (Missy) Allen
A memorial service will be held at Brumley Baptist Church in Conway, Arkansas on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10:00am.
