Funeral services for Thomas J. Rutledge will be held Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Gene Kendrick officiating. Graveside services will be held at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery following the funeral service. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Thomas was born January 4, 1930 in Houston, Texas to Thomas J. and Nellie Rutledge and entered the eternal gates of Heaven on May 15, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. Thomas faithfully served his Lord as a minister for 62 years. He was a member of Mim’s Baptist Church. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Rutledge; sons, David Rutledge and Paul Rutledge; his twin sister, Jeanette Airola; other sisters, Mary Burt, Bobbie Garst and Myrtie Temple; 20 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and numerous friends all over the world.
