Susan Priscilla Riesgo Davidson

Born in Whittier, CA on July 25, 1939 to William and Albertina Riesgo, Sue spent the majority of her younger life in San Gabriel, CA. In 1958, she met Jerry Davidson, her husband of 56 years. In 1974, they relocated to Plano, Texas where she and Jerry raised their family.

Professionally, she was a bookkeeper starting her career with a local building company then moved on as an assistant with a CPA firm for many years. Following her lifetime commitment to her faith and church, she served as a Eucharistic Minister for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Plano, Texas.

Sue enjoyed collecting eagles, cross stitching, reading and boasting of having been to every state in the USA including Alaska and Hawaii. A deeply thoughtful, loyal friend who always took a moment to remember birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions by sending greeting cards to many she held dear.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Davidson, her parents, William and Albertina Riesgo and her brother, Dan Riesgo. She leaves us remembering her hearty laugh, infectious smile and her father’s quick wit. Susan is survived by her daughter, Lynn Turner, husband Gary, child: Mitch (Conroe, Texas); son, Scott Davidson, children: Tyler and Sarah (Plano, Texas); and son, Glenn Davidson, wife Cyndi Davidson, children: Jessica, Teri, Cody and Katie (Denton, Texas).

In addition to her loving family, Sue will be missed by the dear friends she gathered over the years especially those friends who became family in Plano and Conroe, Texas and her six great grandchildren, godchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2700 Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano, TX 75023.
