Ruth Marie Castleschouldt Redden was born on March 9, 1931 in Conroe Texas and passed away on October 11, 2017 at the age of 86. Ruth was a lifelong resident of Conroe and married Rudolph C Redden in 1950. She enjoyed raising her five children and working in the church, she felt her calling was in youth and children's church. She was a gracious host and enjoyed being an artist.They also enjoyed traveling with their children and grandchildren. Ruth had a servant’s heart and left a legacy of love for her children, grandchildren and all who knew her. Ruth is preceded in death by her father WJ Castleschouldt, mother Martha Marie Swonke Castleschouldt, brothers Joe, Charles Luke and Glen Castleschouldt. She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Rudolph C Redden, Sr., children, Deborah Harper whose husband, Ron Harper is deceased, Rudy Redden, Jr and wife Deborah Slade Redden, Phillip Redden, Stephen Redden, and Amy Miller and husband Russell Miller, Sr. She is survived by brothers Wesley and Wayburn Castleschouldt, sisters, Luvan Simmons and Pat Castleschouldt . Also survived by beloved grandchildren, Keith Miller and wife Leslie, Kendra Harper Stagg and husband Michael Joe Stagg, Stephenie Redden, Chalise Harper Brown and husband Cory, Jenna Eckroat and husband Bryan, James Redden, Austin Miller, Mason Miller, Cory Redden, Daniel Redden, 13 Great Grandchildren and expecting one Great-great grandchild. Numerous cherished nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 15, 2017 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 16, 2017 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow in Conroe Memorial Park.
