Rufus Albert Jordan, 81, of Conroe, TX passed away on August 9, 2010 in Conroe, TX. He was born on March 6, 1929 in Dodge, TX to Katie and Rufus Albert Jordan, Sr. He was preceded in death by his baby son, Vernon G. Jordan, his grandson, Lil’ Jimmy D. Jordan, Jr., his parents, Katie and Rufus Albert Jordan, Sr., and his brother Leon Jordan. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 58 yrs, Jennie E. Jordan; sons, Jimmy D. Jordan, Sr., Gerald W. Jordan and wife Karen; daughters, Cathy J. Martinez, Debra J Koestler and husband Stephen Koestler; brother, Armon Jordan; sisters, Julie Geneva Johnson, Judy Beets and Janora Miller; grandchildren, Jeremy W. Jordan and wife Krystal, K. Wesley Jordan and wife Felicia, Rodney T Jordan and wife Tabatha, Adrienne J. Dewberry and husband Keith, Amie J. Schultz, Christopher B. Smith and wife Virginia, Jonathan L. Smith, Justin R. Brady and wife CeCe, Paige N. Williams and husband Ray; great-grandchildren, Terra and Alecsandier Smith, Tucker and Joselynn Brady, Christian Graham, Hayden Smith, Jordan Schultz, Reese Dewberry, Jayson Jordan, Beaux Jordan, Zackry Jordan, Alexis Jordan and a new great-grandson, Jayden, that will be born in November.
