Rose, along with her husband of 53 years, Carlos G. Ramirez, raised their family in Nederland, Texas before following their daughters to the Conroe area after retirement. Rose was always very supportive of her children. She never missed a football game so that she could watch her eldest play in the marching band, and she would never miss her youngest play a soccer game. Her family was her pride and joy. Rose loved spending time with her three grandsons. She also enjoyed painting ceramics and playing Bingo and Candy Crush.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Carmen Martinez and brother Roy Lona. Rose leaves behind her husband, daughter Christine Rose Ramirez and spouse William Behler, daughter Nicole Purvis, grandsons, William Hewitt Behler, Greyson Wyatt Behler, and Logan Cooper Purvis, sisters Mary Lona, Annie Soto, and Louise Lona, brothers Paul Lona and Robert Lona and wife Arleen, brother-in-law Arthur Martinez, sister-in-law Sonya Lona and beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8th at Cashner Funeral Home from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. with Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest with a private family graveside service at the Houston National Cemetery.
