He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Chanel and James Thomas Ward, sister, Dorothy Mae Breedlove and husband Jake, brother, Milton Ward and wife Edith.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Sylvia Ward, son, Michael Timothy Ward and wife Katie of College Station, Texas, daughter, Pamela Diane Ward of Denton, Texas, daughter, Jennifer Lynn Rogers and husband Gary of Conroe, Texas, daughter, Mary Ashley Ward, also of Conroe, Texas, grandchildren, Brandy Marie Paschal and husband Klint of Richmond, Texas, Mariah Lynn Waggoner of San Marcos, Texas, Ross Cameron McCree of College Station, Texas, Jonah Harden Ward, Emma Kaitlyn Ward and Joshua Michael Ward all of College Station, Texas, nieces, nephews, other family and friends, as well as his precious dogs, Pixie and Sadie.

A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church Conroe on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow from 12:00 to 2:00pm.
