Paul Cousley Edgar Jr.

He is survived by his wife Doris May (Allbee) Edgar, daughters Laura Jean (Edgar) Wagoner with husband Jim, Valerie Leigh (Edgar) Reeves, grandchildren Tiffany Nicole Wood with husband Robert, Kory Foster Calhoun with wife Morgan, and Dylan Michael Reeves. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and a brother.

He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Paul joined the Houston Police Department on September 17, 1962, Academy Class #26. During his tenure with the department, he was assigned to the Central Division and the Jail Division. Sergeant Edgar retired on March 31, 1989.

He enjoyed his retirement with family, playing golf, vacationing on cruises, boating and water skiing.

His body is entrusted with Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas 77304. Paul will be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 10:45am at the Houston National Cemetery at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
