Mr. Bushee was born on December 19th, 1938, to Patrick G. and Mary Bushee in Grand Forks, ND. Like many Northern Midwesterners, he was raised and worked on his family’s farm growing potatoes. Following his love of his country, he joined the Army in 1961. On April 24th, 1965, he married his sweetheart Rosalie Ann McCumber at the Church of St. Anne in Wichita, KS.
Some of his many accomplishments include – an honorable discharge from the Army with several distinctions and awards; welding the front nose assembly of Cessna aircraft headquartered in Kansas; an elevator-man for Otis Elevator Company, working his way up through the company – starting as a helper to becoming a foreman, he finished a long career leading the construction of several high-rise buildings in downtown Houston. Following retirement from Otis, Patrick was known to take well-earned golfing trips to destinations around the country with lifelong friends from the elevator business. He was also known to work on a project or two at his beloved farm in Huntsville.
Mr. Bushee is preceded in death by his parents Patrick G. and Mary Bushee, and his loving wife Rosalie Ann Bushee. He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Robert and Denise Stephenson, his grandchildren, Jeremy Gray, Stacy Edgar, and George and Brittany Stephenson, his great grandchildren, Patrick and Marcy Gray, Elizabeth, Colt Gray, Mackenzie Edgar, Riley Gray, Angelina Gray, and Eleighanna Stephenson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Hall (801 Teas Rd, Conroe, Texas, 77303). Burial will follow in Farris Cemetery, Richards, Texas.
