Pastor Elder Nathan was so much of what we have learned in church. Always there to teach, talk, work, guide and correct when something was not right. Words do not come that would tell who he was as a person. In 1992 we met Pastor at McDonalds in Conroe during the time Sandra and I were to be wed asking for him to perform the ceremony. In 1993 we were wed by him at the Conroe Church of God 7th Day. Since then he Baptized me, Sandra, Jackie, Presley, Kayla, Aaron and Star. He has taught and played with some of our grandchildren. He has officiated over the burial of both my parents. 
We watched the progress as Nathan and Phil restored his 66 Malibu. Arron loved to catch and release the fish from his pond. There are so many great memories. He was the one who always said the folks who went from temple worship to Jesus Worship went from "Right to Right".  There is some much of Nathan in all we know and believe. If I could only choose one word to describe Pastor Nathan Lawson it would be very difficult, but for this moment, Disciple.

Nathan was a great man, a true servant of the Lord!  We both feel sadness but know that he went to be with the Lord!

We are sending our condolences and a big hug to the Lawson family. We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Pastor Lawson. Pastor Lawson was a great man of God that we all loved!  He was our pastor for over 11 years. He did the dedication service for our three kids and always greeted us with a hug and a smile! He was a hard worker! When we moved from Spring, he even helped Doug put on a new roof  on our home to help sell it. We appreciate everything he did in spreading the gospel and for the church! We loved hearing him preach and are thankful for having been blessed in knowing him.
