Nancy (Nan) Carter, 86, of Conroe, TX passed away on September 19, 2023, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s. Nan was born to Eddie & Hazel Noret on September 6, 1937 in Houston,Texas.

Nancy worked for most of her life as the payroll coordinator for the Woodlands Community Association where she was well-known and loved. She was an avid reader who loved going to the movies, going out country western dancing and was an amazing gardener. She was devoted to her grandchildren Ashley, Hailey, and Kyle and loved spoiling them every chance she got.

Nancy is preceded in death by her son Kendall and is survived by her children Jamie (Gary), Joel (Xan), Karey (Dee), and Maurie (Ed), her sister Cheryl (Bill), 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 25, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://act.alz.org.
