Mary Elizabeth Evans was born June 14, 1937 in Pilot Point, Texas and passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 80. Mary was a volunteer for H2U for numerous years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Applegate and Lake Erie Fraley Applegate, and by her husband, Harold Evans in 2008. She is survived by her loving son, Greg Evans and Noreen O’Connell of Allen, Texas. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 5-7pm. The funeral service will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10am. Burial will follow in the Houston National Cemetery at 1pm.
