Mary Elizabeth "Dilly" Harris Anderson

Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth “Dilly” Anderson, age 75, of Conroe will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Dr. Cliff Herrington officiating. Interment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, January 23, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.

Mary was born July 18, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed away to be with the Lord on January 19, 2011 at her son’s home in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Louisiana State University in 1954. She became a flight attendant with Delta Airlines and that is where she met her husband, GW “Andy” Anderson. Mary enjoyed attending the Women’s Bible Study Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her husband, GW “Andy” Anderson and her son, Todd Michael Anderson. Mary is survived by her daughter, Julie Elizabeth Anderson-Glaser and husband Richard of Houston; stepdaughter, Sandra Ann Crabtree and husband Bradley of Bradenton, Florida; sons, Bryan Harris Anderson of Conroe, Corey Haynes Anderson of Houston, Grant William Anderson and wife Michelle of Katy and Noel David Anderson of Houston; grandchildren, Todd Harris Anderson, Kate Elizabeth Anderson and Gunner William Anderson.
