Martha Jean Hammond passed away October 28, 2013, at the age of 66 in Conroe, Texas. She enjoyed art, computers, cars and people. She was an animal activist and would help anyone who needed it. Martha is preceded in death by her husband Joseph W. Hammond of Conroe, Texas; parents, Raymond and Betty Carnes, and daughter, Jennifer E. Hammond. She is survived by step sons, Jeff Hammond and Tammy of West Virginia; CC Brooks of Montgomery, Texas, step grandson, Justin Hammond, one brother, Richard and Sue Carnes, significant other, William Jud Morriss; nephew, Tony Carnes and wife Brooke, great niece, Gia Carnes and special friend her pet Seffi.
