Marilyn Yvonne Bryant

Marilyn Gatlin Lawlis Bryant was born January 21, 1937 in Houston, Texas to A.R. and Ruby Gatlin and passed away on December 19, 2015. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, brother Bill Gatlin, daughter Darla Ann Lawlis, husband Bob Bryant and stepdaughter Pam Delgadillo. Marilyn is survived by son Jim Lawlis and wife Betsy Hensley and granddaughter Emily Lawlis of Conroe, Texas, daughter Lori Lawlis and husband Tim Baldwin of Conroe, Texas, sister Mignone Hopkins and husband J.E. of Canton, Georgia, sister-in-law Rosie Gatlin of Charlotte, North Carolina, nieces Renee Kline and Kelly Gatlin Hoey, nephews Bill Gatlin and Craig Hopkins, stepchildren David Bryant, Deborah Baker and Cheryl Scahill, their spouses, children and grandchildren. Marilyn was a graduate of Jeff Davis High School in Houston, Texas and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 1-3pm with her funeral service at 3pm with Pastor Bill Hamlin officiating.
