Lynn Wilde passed away on Tuesday, November 13 at her home surrounded by loved ones at the age of 74. Lynn was the most caring woman who loved with her whole heart. To know her was to love her. She did not mind letting you know what was on her mind. If you know, you know. She was the first to step up to stand in the gap to help anyone in need. She was the sweetest mom, granny, and friend. She left us with many memories that will continue to warm our hearts and we will treasure always. She was our secret keeper, our safe place and most important, our momma and granny. She enjoyed a good joke and cutting up and giving us all a hard time. She was absolutely hard headed and passed that down to her kids and grandkids as well.
She was quick to love us and put us in our place, sometimes at the same time. She enjoyed gardening, and could transplant and grow anything. Lynn loved spending time with her family especially during the holidays. She made sure we all got together and was adamant about tradition and was sure to make them all special.
Lynn was born on September 12, 1950 in Conroe, Texas to Johnnie and Geneva Needham. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Wilde of 37 years, her parents Johnnie and Geneva Needham, her brothers: Johnny and David, sisters: Barbara, Patsy, and Beth and nephew Jeremy Lewis. Lynn is survived by her children Clifford Franklin, Jimmy Franklin and family, Joy and husband Jason Thatcher, and Sheila and husband Colby Moore. Grand Children Michael Franklin and wife Krista, Wade Thatcher, Jayci Jo Thatcher, Madison Moore, Claire Moore, Lorie Moore and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lynn is also survived by her brother Jimmy Needham and sisters Terri Jock and Kathy Lewis.
Her memorial service will be held at Cashner Funeral Home on Saturday, November 23rd at 10am. We would like to thank everyone for the love, support, encouragement, and prayers during this time.
