Lydia Elizabeth Mixon

Lydia was born in Lynn, Texas to Ernest Peter Paul Koenig and Mary Annie Gully Koenig. She loved working in her yard and cooking. She would set for hours watching cooking shows after she became ill.

Preceded in death by her parents; Ernest and Mary Koenig, husband; Calvin Mixon Sr., great grandson; Vincent Michele Cefalu, brothers; Gilbert Koenig, Ervin Koenig, sister; June Kay, son in-law; Burlen Thompson Sr., Lydia is survived by her brother; Cecil Koenig and wife Annabell, sons; Calvin Mixon Jr. and wife Evelyn, Terry Mixon and wife Josey, Donnie Mixon and wife Cathy, and Dennis Mixon and wife DeAnne, daughters; Paula Fault and husband Earl, and Fredilia Thompson. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, forty-six great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Burlen Thompson, James Higgins, Zachary Higgins, Dennis Mixon, CJ Mixon, and Sean Plank. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeffrey Bow Jr. and Justin Thompson.

Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, in Conroe, Texas, on Thursday, July 12, 2018, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Celebration of life service for Lydia Elizabeth Koenig Mixon will be held at the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 10:00am with Pastor Andrews officiating.
