Lillian Goodwin

She moved to Houston where she graduated with honors from Incarnate Word Academy at the age of 15. She retired from Southwestern Bell after 33 years of service, served as bookkeeper for the Telephone Pioneers of America and 15 years with Conroe Regional Hospital “Senior Friends”.

Lillian is survived by her devoted husband of 43 years Glenn Goodwin, son Randy Pledger & wife Mary of Texas City, daughter Michelle & husband Terry Brumley of Spring, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and large extended family. She is also survived by loving sister Ann Kurtin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lillian is preceded in death by her parents Hubert & Lillian Portele, sisters Rosemary Derkowski and Emily Gillis.

Serving as pallbearers; Russell Kerr, Charles Goodwin, Brandon Price, Jeremy Wolfe, Kevin McFalls and Mark Holland with honorary pallbearers David Goodwin, Blaine McFalls, Joseph Kerr, Jason Wolfe and Justin Wolfe.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at Metcalf Funeral Directors from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The Funeral service will be Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:00am in the Metcalf Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
