Kimberley Dayle Chron Gillis, was born on November 2, 1964 in Houston, Texas to Bill Fred Chron and Mary Ellen Hightower Chron. Kimberley passed away unexpectedly at her home in Montgomery, Texas on July 30, 2023.
Kimberley graduated from Montgomery High School in 1983 and owned Lakeside Boat Repair with her husband, Glen. She was known to many as “Aunt T” and helped raise many children over the years. She was incredibly proud of her own children and even more so, her precious grandchildren. Kimberley was a very giving person, who loved to help others and will be dearly missed by many.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill Fred Chron and Mary Ellen Hightower Chron; and her daughter, Morgaen Gillis.
Kimberley is survived by her husband of 39 years, Glen Gillis; daughter, Chrissy Gillis Dugan and her significant other James Orr; nephew, Josh Butler and his wife Shannon; grandchildren, Addy Dugan, Gentry Dugan, Rhett Dugan, Gunner Butler, Abigail Butler, and Robyn Butler; and mother in law, Frances Gillis.
A celebration of life for Kimberley will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 beginning at 10:00 AM with a reception to follow at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303.
