Karen Leigh Hammer was born October, 28, 1946 in Cleveland, Texas and passed away January 3, 2018 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 71. Karen worked for numerous years as a Registered Nurse and caring for peoples’ health. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Willis Glenn Hammer and Mary Madeline Weeks Hammer, and her brother, Ralph Hammer. She is survived by her friend and special caregiver, Del Bacani and her daughter, Megan Bacani; Gloria Keiser and family; nephew, John Hammer; best friend, Linda Carnahan; friends, Thelma Meadows, Lynn Newton, Lynn and Dale Bishop and Hope Stockton, and all her church family at the Trinity United Methodist Church. Graveside Service will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 2pm in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery in Diboll, Texas with Rev. Deborah A Riggsby officiating.
