Joseph Mamo, son of Austin and Agnes Mamo, quietly passed away on January 28, 2023, in Conroe, Texas. Joseph was surrounded by his loving family, wife, Carmen Mamo, son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Sandra Mamo, daughter, Elizabeth Barnett and her boyfriend Myron Murphy. His oldest son David Mamo was present in his thoughts and prayers.
Joseph was born and married in the Mediterranean island of Malta, Europe. Joseph and his loving wife recently celebrated their 62nd year wedding anniversary and has been the greatest and most loyal husband and father to his family. Joseph was also dedicated and loved his family, friends and grandchildren very much.
People that knew Joseph always left them with a smile. Joseph always had something funny to say and always enjoyed our family gatherings. Joseph’s passion was to travel back home to Malta, Europe to visit his family. Joseph also looked forward to the holidays where his family would always gather together to create memories and enjoy each others company. .
Joseph being the eldest of 5 brothers and sisters, was predeceased by three siblings, Maria, Theresa, Emmanuel and both parents that passed away. Joseph’s youngest brother Charles Mamo is currently living and residing in Malta, Europe.
Joseph loved his wife Carmen, and both were inseparable. They always enjoyed each other's company and worked, travelled and spent time together as much as they could.
Joseph will be missed dearly by his family and left his footsteps behind for others to follow.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 E. White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas, with a rosary at 7:00 P.M. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at ST. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 7801 Bay Branch Dr. The Woodlands, Texas. Joseph will be laid to rest in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
