Glenda Nell Reeves Floyd was born on September 1, 1943, in Galveston, Texas and passed away August 10, 2021, in Conroe, Texas at the age of 77. She was raised in Bryan, Texas and graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1961.
Glenda retired from Woodforest National Bank on July 17, 2017, after 24 and a half years of hard work and dedication. Her colleagues loved to hear her say, “Never fear, Floyd is here!” She loved working in her flower beds and watching any and all sports, especially her Fightin’ Texas Aggies football. She also had a tremendous love for all animals.
Glenda is preceded in death by her parents, Addie Pauline Vann and William Roscoe Reeves, and her sister, Paula Jan Reeves Boyett. She is survived by her daughter, Whitney Alane Floyd of Conroe; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Tolly Keller of Fort Worth; brother-in-law Pat Boyett of College Station; and brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Kathy Reeves of San Antonio.
Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home, in Conroe, Texas on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
Funeral service for Glenda Nell Reeves Floyd will be held at the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 10:00am with interment following at College Station City Cemetery in College Station, Texas.
