Glenda Rue Burgin, born on April 2, 1937, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of love and family. A devoted wife, Glenda shared 68 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, John Austin Burgin. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories and unwavering companionship.
Glenda was a loving mother to her two sons, John and Patrick, both of whom she adored deeply. Her daughters-in-law, both named Lisa, were welcomed into the family with open arms and shared in the warmth of her nurturing spirit. Glenda's family was her pride and joy.
Her grandchildren, Amy Burgin and JD Burgin, held a special place in her heart. Glenda's love extended to her great-grandchildren, Callie and Beckett Burgin. She was preceded in death by her cherished granddaughter, Julie Burgin. Glenda and her sister Scherry Sprague had a relationship that was truly special and filled with deep love and understanding. They shared an unwavering bond and were the best of friends.
Throughout her life, Glenda was known for her devotion to her Christian faith, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303.
