When she was two years old, she and her twin sister moved with their parents to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Several years later they moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma. When they were twelve years old they moved to Houston, Texas.
Frances graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1941, and from the University of Arkansas in 1948. She was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority.
She worked for Exxon, where she met J.B. Frank. They married after he returned from World War II. They were married for 66 years.
She and J.B. had four children. They lived in Houston, Texas, where she worked for the Houston Independent School District as a secretary and teacher’s aide at Condit and Grady Elementary Schools, J.B. worked for Exxon, and they raised their children.
After the children had left home and Frances and J.B. retired, they moved to Conroe, Texas, where they took up residence in Panorama Village. This was the beginning of a new career of active volunteering, beginning with feeding those less fortunate and volunteering at the Conroe Regional Medical Center and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was also a member of a ladies’ golf group and a ladies’ bridge group at Panorama.
Her husband, J.B., preceded her in death in 2012. She is survived by her four children John, Larry, Mary Lou and Tommy, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grand children. She is also survived by her twin sister Elizabeth Perdue, and her sister-in-law Mary Belle Wooddy.

Visitation will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Monday, August 6, 2018 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with rosary beginning at 7:00pm.
Funeral service for Frances Susan Frank will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe, Texas on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 2:00pm with interment following at Garden Park Cemetery at 3:30pm.
