Don was more like an uncle to me, that a cousin. I admired him greatly and miss his friendship and advice. Tears fill my eyes as I imagine Don bowing at the feet of the father and hearing, "Well done good and faithful Servant"

One old man, one young man,
Sitting on the upper deck chatting.
Their words are like the breeze that blows away the tenseness of the day.
 
One is wise, one is bold,
And both may laugh away their cares.
From the Bospherus to the Golden Horn, they converse in tones of evening.
 
One man coming, one man going,

Robin and children,

We just heard today of Don's passing.  We are saddened by the news.  Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.  We will never forget Don's smiling face.

I was sorry to hear of Don's passing. Having worked with him at BASF, I had the highest respect for Don, both in his ability and in his always honorable Christian approach to the work.  I am sorry that for personal health reasons I cannot attend the services.  Becky and my thoughts and prayers are with the family today.

As you know, Don and I were roommates in college.  Don was a pillar of strength and courage. He was there for me with words of wisdom, but more importantly, caring and friendship, as I went through some difficult times. I will never forget what a strong, yet loving person he was to his parents, to his family and friends, and to strangers all over the world. 

May God's Mercy carry you and your amazing family through this difficult time.
