Cory Alan Kinney

He was the beloved son of the late Mathes and Betty Kinney. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ryan Kinney.

Cory is survived by his wife, Laureen; brother, Todd Kinney; five grandchildren, Kailey Caltagirone, Peyton and Paige Kalil, Collin, and Caroline Allison; niece, Megan Cardin; and nephews, Collin and Jared Kinney.

Cory enjoyed hunting and fishing on his Pinetree plantation. One of his favorite pastimes was watching his beloved Astros baseball team or Texans football games. Cory retired from a successful career in the mortgage industry. He would have celebrated his 23rd wedding anniversary on April 21, 2024. He will be missed more than words can express.

A visitation for Cory will be held Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas 77304. A celebration of life will occur Monday, April 22, 2024 at 10:00 AM, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas 77304. A graveside service and interment will occur Monday, April 22, 2024 at 2:30 PM at McNight Cemetery, Cushing, Texas.
