Connie LaMay Rice, founder & visionary of Stonehaven Equestrian, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 30. She was 62. Connie was born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada on august 4, 1959 to Ron and Lilian Renfrew.
She is survived by her husband, George (Bud) Rice; son, Matthew and sisters Myrna and Laurie; her niece, Leann and nephew, Buck.
After graduating from high school, she worked in successive positions in accounting and then achieved her license in real estate with Remax, Canada.
A service to celebrate her will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 9:00 am at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 E. White Oak Terrace, Conroe, TX 77304. A burial will follow at 11:00 am at Forest Park The Woodlands, 18000 IH 45 S, The Woodlands, TX 77386. Serving as pallbearers are Bud Cave (Honorary), Geoffrey Whiteley, George Scott and George Rice.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the A.S.P.C.A.
