Carolyn Musgrove of Cut N Shoot Texas, beloved wife and mother of three, passed away on Sunday March 26, 2023. A viewing will be held at Metcalf Funeral Home, 1801 E White Oak Terrace in Conroe, on Sunday April 2, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Services will be held Monday April 3, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Groceville, 19256 FM-1484 Conroe, at 12:00pm.
She is survived by her husband Marvin Musgrove of 59 years, sister Mary Beth McCarthy, sister-in-law Judy Atkinson, children Mike Musgrove and wife Tori, Joe Musgrove, Beverly Kerbow and husband Shelby. Grandchildren Demi Ivy and husband Dustin, Cody Musgrove. Great Grandson Maddox Ivy.
Carolyn was born in Conroe and grew up in Cut N Shoot Texas, where she and Marvin raised their family.
Carolyn devoted her life to her family, God and education. Carolyn and Marvin were members for over fifty years of The First Baptist Church of Groceville, where she played the piano. She was involved with various church activities such as Vacation Bible School and teaching Sunday school.
She received her Bachelor of Science in 1964 and Master’s in Education in 1987, at Sam Houston State University. She was an educator with Conroe ISD for over thirty years sharing her love of art with many children.
She has touched so many lives in her time here on earth and will be forever loved and missed by those that knew her. Carolyn was a dedicated Mother and Wife.
