Funeral services for Carolyn Marie Cassard will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Cashner Colonial Chapel. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. She was born on December 6, 1952 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Preston and Rose Thibodeaux and went to be with her lord and savior on January 10, 2017. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tim Cassard; her son Marcus Wayne; brother Gerald Thibodeaux. She is survived by her only daughter Tanya Marie Dryden and her husband Kent. She is also survived by her sister Shirley Edwards and her husband Eddy, in addition to all her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends. Carolyn’s greatest love in life was for her only granddaughter Lexie Marie Paschetag and her husband Jacob. Carolyn will be greatly missed for her contagious smile, encouraging words of wisdom and the love that she had for her family and friends.
