Billie Jean Nobles was born December 1, 1934 in Westfield, Texas to Oscar and Bessie Schultz Smoot and went to her Heavenly Home August 18, 2016 in Conroe, Texas at the age of 81. Billie retired as the manager of Hyden Steak House after 45 years of service. Billie was a hard working woman, and worked long hours to provide for her children. Billie not only loved her family and work, she also loved to play Bingo. Billie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ricky Hanson Sr., 1 brother and 3 sisters. She is survived by her son, Ronald Hanson; daughters, Sheila Potter and Ginger Backhus and husband George; sisters, Bertie Wright, Gwen Adams and Libby Adkins; special cousin, Floyd Baker; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 5-8pm. Funeral Service will be in the Cashner Colonial Chapel on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 12:30pm with Pastor Ed Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow in the Conroe Memorial Park. Pallbearers for the service will be: Ben Potter, Andy Potter, Richard Hargrave, Tyler Chambers, Larry Spell and Mike Neel.
