Ray and Addilee moved to Texas in February of 1974 from Ohio. With her children in school and Ray traveling across the country for his job, Addilee decided to find work outside the home. She saw an ad in the Conroe Courier for a housekeeper and quickly secured the position. She made many friends in Panorama Village and word spread quickly of her housekeeping skills. She was also involved with First Presbyterian Church of Conroe in the sewing group making blankets for children, as well as the Cooking Crew in the kitchen. She schooled her children and their friends in cooking, sewing, gardening, and cleaning tips in the "Addilee" way. She cleaned her last home on her 90th birthday for her dear friend, Joan Purdom.
Addilee was born June 1, 1929, in Oxford, West Virginia and was the first born of seven children to Ovied and Letha Watson. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Paul "Sam" Watson. She is survived by brothers Dennis Watson and Alton "Doc" Watson, as well as her loving sisters Noni Scadden, Jean Rittenhouse and Marcia Murphy. Surviving children include Rosanna Fagan and Tanna Warrington and three grandchildren: Carla Fagan, Morgan Warrington, and Madison Warrington. She was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Shane Novicky, Kaylen Novicky, and Jewel and King Armstrong.
