Adam was born in Orange, Texas on July 17, 1977, to Steve and Evelyn Simmons. He grew up playing soccer, racing RC cars, and riding bikes in Bridge City, Texas. Adam was full of energy, joy and mischief. As a teenager, Adam and his family moved to Spring, Texas where he attended Spring High School. This is when Adam developed a love for music. Although Adam never received formal instruction, he was able to teach himself to read music and play guitar.
Adam has been a jack of all trades. He has been a DJ, a tow truck driver, a salesman, and a fleet manager but the role he has taken to most pride in is father. Adam became a dad on June 3, 2005, and Brianna Lynn has been the center of his world ever since.
Adam was a talented musician and played guitar for Twelve Years Driven. His passion for music and love for his band members radiated from the stage. In the last few years, Adam renewed his childhood hobby of racing RC cars and spent many of his weekends at Mike’s Hobby Shop racing with his brother, Stephen, and his friends.
Adam is survived by his daughter, Brianna Lynn Simmons, his parents, Steve and Evelyn Simmons, his brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Amanda Simmons, his sister, Heather Simmons, two nieces, six nephews, many extended family members and friends.
Services to honor Adam Keith Simmons will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Cashner Funeral Home & Cemetery, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas 77303. Blue is Adam’s favorite color, so the family asks that you wear blue on Friday to celebrate his life and his memory.
In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the American Cancer Society in Adam’s honor.
