John Wayne Walker, age 63, of Hickory, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023. He was born on Tuesday, April 7, 1959 to the late John Dewitt Walker and Pearl Irene Walker.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa L. Walker; brother, David Hips; sister, Barbra Wike, and his beloved dog, Zena.
John graduated from Alexander Central High School. He loved his daughter and granddaughter deeply. He loved listening classic rock music, riding motorcycles, and building hot rods.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kira Walker; granddaughter, Kayleigh Blumke; and brother Jerry Walker.
No services will be held at this time.
The Walker family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Conover, NC.
