Jason Scott Lail, Age 42, of Conover, Passed away on September 2, 2021 at Atrium Health Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. He was surrounded by his loving family. Born October 28, 1978 in Catawba County, he was the son of Jimmy Dale Lail and Carole Mahoney Nichols.
Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon & Sudie Lail and Raymond & Betty Mahoney. He is survived by his loving wife Jessica Lail. They were married on October 17th, 2020 in Maiden, NC. He is lovingly remembered by his two beautiful daughters, Alyssa and Amelia Lail, his stepson Noah, his twin brother Justin, his younger sister Julie, his sister in-law Kristen and brother in-law Tyler, he has 5 nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly, Lily, Savannah, Kolton, Ezra and Maddox.
Jason was a very dedicated employee at GKN Automotive for 23 years as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician. His hobbies included his love for all things outdoors and cars. He really enjoyed spending his time fishing and hunting. He was also known for his travels around the United States and abroad. His most cherished memories are with his children and family.
A service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021, at Drum Funeral Home in Conover, NC. With Rev. Stuart Lankford officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in Conover, NC.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 7th from 5pm-7pm at the Drum Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to Foothills Equestrian Center. There is a memorial fund set up in Jason Lail name for his daughter Alyssa Lail.
