Earlene Harris Byrd

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by daughters, Teresa Ann Byrd and Anita Louise Byrd Butler; grandson Bradley Kent Donnelly; brothers, Billy Harris and Richard Harris.

Earlene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who treasured time with her family. She was employed as a secretary with the medical library at the hospital.

Family left to cherish her memory are husband of 70 years, Harold Glenn Byrd; daughter Donna ( Robert) Donnelly; grandchildren Vanessa Donnelly, Christopher (Kathy) Butler; and great granddaughter, Madelyn Paige Butler; brothers Kenneth Harris and Donald Harris; sisters, Maxine Harris, Doris Ann Campbell and Susan Drum

A graveside service will be Monday, at 2:00 pm, November 14, 2022 at Catawba Memorial Park, Hickory, NC.

Rev. Heather Langan of St. Marks Lutheran Church Claremont, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for memorials to be made in Earlene's memory to the scholarship for her grandson Bradley Kent Donnelly. The Bradley Kent Donnelly Scholarship Fund, Catawba Valley Community College, 2550 Hwy 70 SE, Hickory NC 28602.
