Randy G. Selby

Randy G. Selby, 79, of Connersville passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Randy was born in Connersville, Indiana on March 19, 1944 to Gene and Pauline Selby. He grew up in the Columbia area most of his life. Randy attended Columbia School and later started work at Philco and on to Ford. Anyone that knew him knew how much he loved to fish and travel around the country. He went on many fishing trips and always knew the best “hole in the wall” places to visit. Randy is survived by his children and their spouses: Randy “Bub” Selby and Tiffanie, Shelly Brown, Mindy Abrams and Jon, Clint Selby and Amy; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his infant son: Marty Gene Selby; great-grandson: Case Selby; siblings: Rick Selby, Diane Baldwin, Kim Selby, Tim Selby; his best friend and faithful companion: Stubby. A celebration of Randy’s life will be conducted at the convenience of the family. Showalter Blackwell Long, Myers Chapel, Connersville has been entrusted with arrangements.
