Christopher David Jordan

Christopher David Jordan, 39, died Saturday November 7, 2020 at his home. The only child of David and Eunice Leach Jordan, Chris was born April 28, 1981. After graduating from Connersville High School he received his Bachelor’s degree in social work from IU East and his Master’s in business management from Indiana Wesleyan. Chris was still determined to continue his education, as he was five credits away from receiving his Doctorate in leadership. Chris enjoyed spending time with his children, fishing, playing the piano and rooting for the Cincinnati Bengals. He attended Grace United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his son: Devon Austin Jordan, Ovie Lee Jordan; daughter: Madison Paige Jordan; fiancé: Katie Brandes of Batesville; Uncle: Norman Charles Newton Leach of Connersville; aunts: Lisa and her husband, Mike Pfenninger, Sherri Robinson, Cindy Jordan, Tonja and her husband, Donald Tiemann all of Connersville; maternal grandfather: Norman E. Leach; several cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2020 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, Myers Chapel, Connersville.
