Mary E. Dintrone

Mary Dintrone (nee Etler) of Valley Cottage, NY passed away peacefully on January 3, 2019 with her family at her bedside. She was 83 years old. Mary was born in the Bronx on March 22, 1935 to Edgil and Nora Etler. She was raised and spent most of her life in Yonkers, NY. Mary graduated from St Barnabas High School in the Bronx and married her best friend and love of her life, Pat, in 1957. The two were inseparable and a demonstration of what true love means. Mary's favorite past times included reading, watching the Yankees, playing on her iPad, trips to Atlantic City and mostly spending time with her family. In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is survived by her sons Joseph (Sue) and Edward (Lynne), and daughters Elizabeth (Barry) Mulligan and Patricia (Timothy) Fagan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren - Tara, Patrick, Michael, Brad, Scott, Christopher, Luke, Timothy and Katie and a great grand daughter - Demi. She will missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Family will receive friends on Sunday January 6th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 at Higgins Funeral Home in Congers, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday January 7th at 10am at St. Paul’s, Congers.
