Harry Ilardi, a resident of Rockland County, NY, died on Feb. 22, 2012. He was 85 years of age. He is survived by his wife, Joan, his children – Harry T. Ilardi, Rosemary Ilardi-Ellis, Leonora Ilardi Pranitis, Charles Ilardi, and his grandchildren – Sarah Ellis, John Pranitis, and Rachel Ilardi.
Harry was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 7, 1926 to Maria LaRocca and Salvatore Ilardi. He attended City Collage of NY and was employed by Fisher Scientific Company as a Chemical Engineer; he worked at Fisher for 49 years. Harry married Joan DiMiceli on Jan. 17, 1953 and remained a loving husband and father for 59 years.
Harry recognized and appreciated the benefits of science and technology, but valued his family, his friends, and the Church most. He will be sorely missed.
