Bill graduated with a Master’s Degree in electronic engineering from Tulane University, and served in the US Navy. After his service, he worked as an electronics’ engineer for the US Army Corps of Engineers in New Orleans, LA until he retired.
After he retired, Bill bought a boat and spent his time fishing. He enjoyed being at the gun range and spending time with his wife, Janet. They both belonged to the Bow’s Young at Heart Club. In 2022, Janet had a stroke, to which Bill dedicated and devoted his time to taking care of his wife. He would always remind her that that was what he signed up for when they took their marriage vows.
Bill was always known as a kind-hearted person. He was the person who would pull over on the side of the road to help someone in an accident, and will be missed and cherished by many.
Bill is survived by his wife, Janet (Moulton) Emmett, of Bow, NH and several cousins.
Services will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH 03303 on October 2, 2023 at 11:00am.
