Timothy M. Davis, age 74, of Belmont, NH, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024, with his wife Patricia Davis and stepson Charlie by his bedside at home. He was a beloved man known for his sense of humor and love for playing pranks on others. Tim was always up for a challenge and went out of his way to help those around him. He cherished life, enjoyed camping for 37 years, and had a passion for music and fast cars, including his dream car, a Corvette.
Timothy proudly served in the US Navy from 1969 to 1972, earning a National Defense honor before being honorably discharged. He then dedicated himself to a career in law enforcement, serving as a Sergeant in the Concord Police Department for 26 years and as an officer at the Federal Courthouse in Concord, NH for 15 years. Tim was devoted to his community and his work, always putting others first.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 25 years, Patricia Davis; his stepsons Jesse Slater and Charlie Adcock, his daughters Jordan (Mark) Idle, and Amy Davis, as well as 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandsons. Timothy was preceded in death by his daughter Laurie Davis, his mother Rose Davis, cousin Judy Bennett, Aunt Jean, and several other aunts and uncles.
Timothy attended Bishop Brady High School and worshipped at the Catholic church in Penacook, NH, and Concord, NH. He enjoyed spending time with friends, camping, boating, jet skiing, and his close friend Ralph Lewis of 51 years, and Mike Onorato of 38 years.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 28 from 12PM to 1:30PM at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St, Concord, NH, with a Time of Remembrance to begin at 1:30PM.
He will be deeply missed by all who loved him. May he rest in peace. With all my love, I love you sweetheart. Patsy
