

Sarah Lougee went to be with her Lord on January 7, 2025. Sarah was born to Herbert and Amy (Eaton) Piper on May 31, 1938. She lived most of her life in Concord and the last 56 years at the same residence on Eastside Drive. She went to local schools and graduated Concord High School in 1956. She attended Moody Bible Institute.
Sarah was predeceased by her parents and husband, J Loren R. Lougee. She worked for the local phone company over 38 years and in retirement volunteered at several local organizations including the Road to Recovery Cancer rides, American Red Cross, NH Historical Society, and Society for the Protection of NH Forests.
She became a member of First Baptist (now Centerpoint) in 1956 where she participated in choir, women's ministry, mission teams and taught Sunday School.
Sarah loved to read, do crosswords and especially play scrabble. She also kept a beautiful, large garden as long as she was able. She loved to watch golf, the Patriots and Red Sox, and little league.
Sarah leaves her daughter Elaine R. Welch of Concord and stepdaughter Pam Laub of Arizona. She was a proud Gram to Jenae (Eric), Nikala (Joel), and Zachary and Gigi to six great grandchildren: Piper, Noah, Jude, Soren, Arthur, and Kalina. She also leaves her brother Edwin H. Piper (Nancy) and nieces and nephews.

Services for Sarah will be held on January 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Centerpoint Church, 20 N State St, Concord, NH 03301.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
