We didn't know each other very well. Hell I was told you didn't like me. However I had the greatest admiration for you. Happy you finally get to be with your true love again...your wife, Gloria.

Dad,
Your passing has left a huge hole in my heart and in my life but I am comforted by the fact your suffering is over and you've joined so many of your loved ones in internal life. I'm so glad we've had the last 20 years or so to bond and I've gotten to see a whole other side of you. I'm glad we were able to talk so many times and I got to know about some of your experiences in the military and about our family in Ohio. Thank you dad for all your sacrifices throughout our life's to  make sure we always had food and essentials we needed. Till we meet again you'll always be in my heart and on my mind, tell mom I love and miss her, tell the same to all our other loved ones, Love you, forever your son...Bud

Ron, I will always remember the beautiful and very meaningful gift you have left me. A gift of many conversations, the laughter we shared and there were many and most importantly always making sure to say we loved each other before we ended our call. It’s a gift I will forever treasure and hold close and dear to my heart. I miss and love you so very much. 

Love you dad I’m going to miss you everyday. I find joy knowing you and mom are together in heaven. I cherish the time I got to spend with you and thank you for being a great papa to your grandchildren. You were the greatest fishing partner a son could ask for.
