Patricia Claire Taylor

She was born on April 20, 1927 in Boston, MA. She grew up primarily in Bedford, MA and was the youngest of 8 children.

She graduated from the Army Nursing Core in 1947 from Boston City Hospital, and she was a registered nurse for 60 years. She spent time during her career in pediatrics, rehab and mental health, senior nursing care, and as a school nurse. She retired from EvenTide Nursing home in Exeter, NH in 2008.

Patricia enjoyed knitting, audio books, watching old movies, gambling, traveling, cooking, the ocean, and spending time with family and her pets. She had fond memories of her lifelong friendships with the Beachmont Gang in Revere, MA and the McClory Family of Lynne, MA.

Patricia married William J. Taylor on April 15, 1950 and they raised four children, James P. Taylor, Susan J. Hureau, Robert W. Taylor, and Patricia C. Taylor.

Patricia is survived and missed by her children, James P. Taylor, Robert W. Taylor, and Patricia C. Taylor; her 10 grandchildren; her 12 great grandchildren; and an extensive list of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband William J. Taylor, her parents Patrick J. Dwyer and Margaret (Deliah) Carney Dywer, four brothers, three sisters, and her daughter Susan J. Hureau.

Call Hours will be Saturday, December 4th from 2-5 PM at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N Main Street, Concord, NH. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, December 6th at 10AM at Christ the King Church, 72 S Main Street, Concord, NH.
