Michael "Curtis" Stracener

Michael Curtis Stracener, 69, of Foley, AL passed away on Saturday, July 06, 2019 at Concord Hospital, Concord, NH. Michael was born in Birmingham, AL on November 29, 1949, the son of Charles and Evelyn (Moore) Stracener.

Curtis was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile, AL. Curtis enjoyed shooting pool, playing darts, and watching his Alabama Crimson Tide College Football Team.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Wilson and brother, Wayne Stracener. He was also preceded in death by his late wife Kathy (Mitchell) Stracener.

He leaves his wife, Michelle (Richard) Stracener; daughters, Michelle Rath, Melissa Engelke, Pam Balcom and Kim Remick; grandchildren, Brandon, Cameron, Raine, Grace-Anne, Ayden, Hallie, Isaac and Destinee; his brother, Kenneth Stracener and several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
