Born and raised in Elmhurst, Illinois on October 7, 1977, she was the only daughter of Paul and Barbara Anderson. She treasured her childhood family vacations visiting every one of the continental US states with her parents and her 3 brothers, Peter, Neil, and Mark Anderson.
Kristen graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in just three years with a degree in Ceramics Engineering in 1998. Soon after graduating, she moved to New Hampshire where she began an extraordinary career in the field of engineering with multiple New England technology manufactures and in support of national defense.
Kristen then met her husband, Kenneth A. Chase, and the two enjoyed 21 years of adventure-filled marriage. The pair built their dream house from the ground up. They raised their daughter, Serina N. Chase, of Henniker. They traveled to such places as Alaska, Nova Scotia, Mexico, and more. They even worked together, and truly enjoyed spending every minute that they could in each other's presence. They were inseparable.
In her spare time, Kristen enjoyed hiking, backpacking, gardening, and going on long motorcycle trips with her husband, Kenneth. Kristen was a devoted and loving wife, a compassionate and patient mother, and a woman of unwavering faith. She was vibrant and full of wisdom, kindness, bravery, and determination. She will be missed beyond words.
Kristen is survived by her husband Kenneth, her dear beagle Boston, and her daughter Serina; her brother Peter and his wife Lori of Carpentersville, Illinois; her brother Neil and his wife Traci of Mahomet, Illinois; her brother Mark and his wife Alisa of Chesapeake, Virginia; her mother Barbara of Algonquin, Illinois; her nieces and nephews Lydia, Ethan, Adam, and another unnamed niece/nephew currently on the way. She was predeceased by her father Paul and her beloved Rottweilers Thor, Roxy, Devon, and Sheba.
