David Scott Whitacre, 61, passed away following a sudden illness at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, N.H. on Nov. 17, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Dave was born in Beecher City, Ill. and attended Effingham High School. He graduated from Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo. and The John Marshall Law School in Chicago before working as an attorney in Iowa, Virginia, and Tennessee.
Dave is survived by his wife Pamela Telfer-Whitacre of Hooksett, N.H., his mother Lois Whitacre of Beecher City, Ill. and his three sons, Benjamin Scott Whitacre of Lynchburg, Va., Andrew David Whitacre and fiancée Christin Mitchell of Arlington, Va. and Tyler David Whitacre of West Chester, Pa.
Dave was a devoted husband, son, and father and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A private graveside family service will take place on November 25, 2016.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dave’s name to Easter Seals, New Hampshire 555 Auburn Street, Manchester, NH 03103.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Bennett Funeral Home of Concord.
